21.01.2022 Is once again facing technical difficulties...

21.01.2022 So you may have noticed that we've been quiet, practically dead since last year. And some of you may be wondering what's been going on within amaterasu. To be honest, we were considering calling it a day for a while there. There were a few problems going on within the band, and Japan did steal our drummer... So we were unsure as to what we would be doing. Replace our drummer? Get some fill in band members? Or just wait for him to return? Well after talking it through. We've d...ecided to continue doing what we love, which is clearly making and playing music. We've put aside all our differences and will be pursuing music again as of next month. We are aiming to give all of you who still support us, and potential new fans of our music, live shows in which you'll hopefully never forget. There is a hole in the Adelaide music scene with so many bands calling it a day, and we do not intend on becoming one of them. So thanks to all of those who have supported us and remained patient. We will be seeing you in the second half of 2017! And we personally cannot wait to share the stage with our friends in all the bands that we've played with, and new bands that we hope to play with!

20.01.2022 Who's coming to our show this Friday with Aspirations, Adagio Allegro, Valhalla Aus and Oceans Wake??? If you miss us for what ever reason we are also playing a show next Sunday at colonial light with some awesome bands. Sunday session, beers and bands. Do it!!!

19.01.2022 First show of 2017 has been confirmed and it's going to be a big one! Amaterasu is heading out north to play with some awesome bands! Tickets are available now!

19.01.2022 Here's another show for y'all. This time we're playing with Aspirations, Valhalla Aus, Adagio Allegro and Oceans Wake!!! And there you have it. We're playing 3 more shows from now until the end of the year so you have no excuse to miss us!!!

17.01.2022 Who caught our set Friday night at Enigma? Thanks to those who came. Thanks to all the bands that we played with that night, they all killed it!
