12.01.2022 I have a number of testimonials that clients have been kind enough to share with us their success. I am going to share these over the next few weeks. Enjoy reading :) I came to see Michelle as I have a job where I need to get up and do meetings and speeches in front of a crew of people. 11.01.2022 When people have been in stress for a long time, they've been overly concerned with what's not working and with what's gone wrong. They've trained themselves to focus on problems in an attempt to prevent them from happening. We all know that the more you use a muscle, the stronger it gets. In the same way, every time you think about something in a certain way, your brain fires specific electrical impulses down specific ...neural pathways. The more times those electrical impulses are fired down the same pathways, the stronger and more developed those pathways become When people are constantly thinking about everything that could go wrong, it is as though they are 'practising' being in a state of high alert. Each one of these practice sessions reinforces the neural networks in their brain associated with fear and stress, so it actually easier for them to go into the stress response than to experience feelings of happiness and joy. One of the best ways to change this is to begin to shift your thinking from 'what's wrong' to 'what's right'. This is a process of retraining your brain to begin to notice more and more of the joy and wonder that surround us in any moment. In the same way as people have habituated to focus on what's missing from their lives, you can train your brain over a period of days to notice everything that's joyous and wonderful. If you have never kept a journal before, prepare to be amazed at the difference it will make in your life. The act of writing down what you appreciate and what you enjoy trains your brain to make gratitude and joy your natural emotional default way of thinking. Do this simple process every day for 30 days and 'hardwire' yourself to feeling good more and more. If you enjoy the changes then keep going with it everyday, it's a beautiful way to end the day. 05.01.2022 Testimonial Time :) I am a 64 year old man, Doctors have been telling me for quite awhile that I desperately need to do some drastic changes to my health. They threatened me with a gastric bypass, I certainly didnt want to go down this road. You see I was the man that eats, when I was happy I would celebrate with food, when I was sad I commiserate with food. When I was mad I take out my frustrations with food, when I was relaxing you guessed it I would relax whilst enjoyin...g food. That was until somebody said to me Why don’t you go see that Hypnotherapy Lady in Chinchilla. I thought to myself, you have got to be kidding how is waving a watch in front of my eyes or clucking like a chicken going to help me lose weight. We had all the tests done and doctors could not find a reason for my unexplained infertility. I was feeling quite damaged and emotionally vulnerable about the whole fertility journey. Michelle worked with me to help me heal from the anxiety and the depression I had fallen into. I was feeling l...ike a total failure and felt I was letting my husband down.
