Some of the activities they did were very challenging both physically and emotionally...yet they persisted and achieved fantastic results. I’ll need to watch this video a few more times before I can see it clearly with dry eyes. Niki...THANK YOU for putting ths video together so we can re-live these student’s successes again and again. 06.01.2022 I support spending time with our youngsters, communicating with kindness and consideration and allowing natural consequences to guide them in helpful ways.

06.01.2022 Thanks for coming along Mark. I didn’t get photos myself so I’m sharing yours. . I really loved seeing the kids faces light up as they enjoyed this new performing experience and I’m grateful I got to share in the joy with them. I’m eternally grateful to the wonderful staff (and parents/carers of the students) at Forrest Parade School for inviting me to spend time each week with your kids. We’ve done so much in circus classes over the last two terms and the I Can circus pe...rformance was just one part of the students involvement in the circus program. Throughout terms 3 & 4 each student has had the opportunity to practice many different circus skills and to learn a little bit of magic. Students have developed their physical, social and emotional skills, and have learnt to replace I Can’t with I Can (or I’m still learning). Some classes even made their own costumes and circus props for the concert...like those great juggling balls, poi, tricky sticks and horses! Thank you to everyone who contributed to the amazing performance both on stage and off stage and behind the scenes. See more

05.01.2022 All my Fridays are FUN Fridays when I’m doing circus workshops at Forrest Parade School! And today is extra special because I get to see the kids present assembly to the Administrator of the NT.

04.01.2022 Kenyan runner Abel Mutai was only a few metres from the finish line, but got confused with the signs and stopped, thinking he had finished the race. BA Spanish ...man, Ivan Fernandez, was right behind him and, realizing what was going on, started shouting to the Kenyan to keep running. Mutai did not know Spanish and did not understand. Realizing what was going on, Fernandez pushed Mutai to victory. A reporter asked Ivan, "Why did you do this?" Ivan replied, "My dream is that one day we can have some sort of community life where we push ourselves and also others to win." The reporter insisted "But why did you let the Kenyan win?" Ivan replied, "I didn't let him win, he was going to win. The race was his." The reporter insisted and asked again, "But you could have won!" Ivan looked at him and replied: "But what would be the merit of my victory? What would be the honor of this medal? What would my Mother think of it?" The values are transmitted from generation to generation. What values do we teach our children and how much do you inspire others to earn? Most of us take advantage of people's weaknesses instead of helping to strengthen them. IN THIS NEW YEAR, I WANT EVERYONE OF US TO WIN; LET'S PUSH ONE ANOTHER TO THE FINISH LINE. WE ALL DESERVE VICTORY!

02.01.2022 Keep watch...Taminmin Community Library has cool stuff for teens! We had a fun day today! ... #amazingmissdeb
