25.01.2022 Alrighty VIC, whose weekend plans just got a whole lot quieter? Our 5 star rated Don Pedro cocktail is sure to keep your spirits up. After all, a Valentine’s Day in lockdown is the ultimate excuse to indulge. Ingredients 80 g dark chocolate (70% cocoa), broken into pieces 800 g vanilla ice cream (see Tips)... 120 - 200 g Kahlua, to taste (see Tips) 200 g pouring (whipping) cream Preparation 1. Place chocolate into mixing bowl and grate 5 sec/speed 7. Transfer into a bowl and set aside. 2. Place ice cream, Kahlua and cream into mixing bowl and blend 20 sec/speed 4, mixing with aid of spatula, until smooth. Divide evenly between glasses and top with reserved grated chocolate. You can replace the Kahlua with whiskey or Frangelico. Kid friendly tip. Swap Kahlua for milk and add a handful of chopped strawberries in step 2. Thermomix

18.01.2022 One thing we always make is our own tomato paste, its so good to be able to use some of my very own home grown tomatoes. When you taste fresh tomato paste made with no additives you have to wonder what is in that store bought stuff. Great on pizzas, in soups & often used in curries or pasta dishes.
