02.01.2022 REST & RELAXATION What do you do to relax? I took my kids camping this weekend. Was it relaxing? Not particularly . ... My camping set up was nothing like this photo . To be honest I'm not much of a camper. Even with minimal camping gear I still found myself packing the car like a real life tetris game. Lucky I met up with friends who are die hard campers with all the bells and whistles. It didn't help that there was a huge storm last night and everything became wet and muddy. Don't even get me started about my dislike for air mattresses... But at the end of the day, the kids had a blast swimming and kayaking for hours on end with friends, building a mud slide and trying to build a fire in the rain. I love seeing my kids happy and having fun in nature! Will I do it again? Of course! Do you like camping? What have you been doing to keep your kids occupied these school holidays?
