03.01.2022 I'm so hungry today thinking about Hummus, so I thought I'd share my 'Super Secret', loved by all, Hummus Recipe! You will need: 1 can drained Organic Chickpeas 1 big teaspoon Tahini... Dash of Herbamere salt or Himalayan Rock Salt Dash of Turmeric powder 2 teaspoons of Olive Oil or 1 teaspoon Coconut Oil 1 big clove of Garlic, crushed Half a Lemon Optional: Beetroot powder With a stick blender or food processor, blend Chickpeas, tahini, oil, salt, turmeric and garlic. You can blend until smooth or leave a few lumps to make a ‘crunchy hummus’. The secret? Squeeze in lemon just before you serve! Can be eaten as a snack with wholegrain crackers, carrot, celery or capsicum sticks. Why is it PINK? I sometimes add beetroot powder to add colour, flavour and fun!
