25.01.2022 On Saturday I attended an invitation only official exhibition opening, in the WWII Tunnels in Darwin city, of 2 amazing local artists. What a privilege it was! There was an incredible turn out & the artwork was, not surprisingly, being snapped up by lucky locals. This exhibition continues throughout the week, so do yourself a favour & get on down there to share this exceptional experience. The Catherine Miles originals are simply breathtaking when viewed in person.

You have ALL put in an extraordinary effort to assist our future generation to deal with the unprecedented experiences of 2020, so enjoy this well deserved break, & this little classic tune.

07.01.2022 Always be proud of your achievements! Just like Steven Bradbury here, & so he should be. He trained, he competed, & he won the gold! End of story! Having represented Australia myself, in lifesaving in my much younger years, the conditions on the day are always a factor at play in any competition. The simple fact of this Olympic event is that Steven Bradbury was the very best on THAT day, & in THAT event. Whereas, all the other competitors in that event made mistakes (whoo...psie daisies) that they could then learn from for next time. We should learn to celebrate our personal successes, & not focus on our mistakes /shortfalls. Those are just there to help us continue to improve & achieve.
