24.01.2022 Q: How do you keep your whites this white? A: Prestige Surfaces - Concrete by Concrete by Keenan Harris Design by Kate Hearn... Landscaping by E.Scape Landscaping Sealed by Prestige Surfaces using #JUSTSEALIT See more

24.01.2022 Ambition is going through a growth phase right now. As incredibly exciting as it is, growth in business is also super painful! The good news is, the tough times of growth are only temporary. - Does anyone else have growing pains? If so, what are they?

24.01.2022 I have @jessiestephens90 to thank for alerting me to the genius of Oliver Burkeman’s latest column, the eight secrets to a (fairly) fulfilled life. This column contains eight nuggets of wisdom that are some of the most profound I have read, due to their lack of fluff and deep relevance to our world in 2020. - This one hits home for me: the ability to tolerate some level of discomfort, be it in work, in life, in exercise, etc., is the secret to success in whatever field you are in. I say this as I am sitting in my office on a Sunday - uncomfortable to say the least, but at the moment this discomfort is necessary to get me to where I want to go. And so, I will persevere.

22.01.2022 Our clients are specialists in their fields. They are striving for excellence in everything they do, and they need branding and social media that showcases the exceptional quality of their work. It's an honour to work alongside professionals who are at the top of their game to help them present themselves in the very best light. - Case in point: Adelaide's retaining wall specialists, Fresh Construction Captured on site by the content wizard Dorky ... #branding #socialmedia #marketing #graphicdesign #brandstrategy

18.01.2022 Double your horsepower to get through the last day of a big week - Michael from AHLG Adelaide captured by Dorky

18.01.2022 Food for thought this Monday. Are you driving your business (being proactive) or is the business driving you each day (causing you to be reactive)? - If it’s the latter, what strategies can you employ to free up more of your time? What daily tasks are you undertaking that could either be delegated or automated/systemised?

18.01.2022 Meet team Wilks - Have you been enjoying the weekly insights into the Wilks Building Group crew? Still three more to come - Outstanding team photos by Dorky

18.01.2022 A lot of business owners don’t value their time enough (or at all!). Are there parts of your working day that are extremely inefficient because you are not a natural in certain areas? Imagine all the time you could spend on building your business pipeline or running your business more effectively if you handed these tasks to someone else. Of course, the ideal is to delegate them to someone you trust to complete them, perhaps even to a higher standard than you could yourself.

17.01.2022 There is something extremely balanced and pleasing to the eye about this photo and this backyard. Great design + great photography = - Landscape Design by @cos.design Landscape Construction by @goodsoilandwater Photography by @nishpara

16.01.2022 There is much to love about this project by Landscape Techniques - the elegant timber pool fence is a real point of difference, as is the excellent job that the bamboo is doing at screening the 4m high fence behind!

13.01.2022 Do you know your Facebook password? - If your answer to this question is; "yes", good on you! Carry on with your day. - If your answer is; "I'm not sure", then we strongly advise you check and make sure you do. ... - If it turns out you don't know your password, you can find yourself in all sorts of issues when it comes to security, and/or allowing admin access to your Facebook business pages. - From a security perspective, if a hacker locks you out of your account, you won't be able to easily reset your password (and kick the hacker out) without being able to enter your current password for security purposes. This issue becomes more complicated if you happened to set up your personal Facebook profile years ago using an old hotmail or yahoo email (for example) to which you no longer have access (sound familiar, anyone???). When you don't have access to the email that is attached to your Facebook profile, then the "forgot password" link won't do much for you! - From an admin perspective, when the time comes to hand over the reins of your social media pages to an agency, you will need your Facebook password - or at the very least, access to your email - to be able to grant them access. To save yourself the headache of trying to problem solve last-minute, we suggest you check on your password now - and reset it using the "forgot password" link if you can't recall it. Once you have reset it, keep it in a safe place so you don't encounter the same issue next time your password is required! - Sarah Thornton photographed by Riley Schoen in the Ambition office. The important thing is to look on the bright side of this strange reality we find ourselves in: social media is an easy way to connect with your customer base, and now more than ever you have a captive audience.

11.01.2022 This may sound odd coming from a company who specialises in social media management, but - let me tell you, notifications on your devices cause distractions that impact on productivity. - Effective workers know that the key to focusing on the task at hand (or the meeting you are in!) is turning off or limiting all distractions and digital ‘noise’. - Try it for a day and see how it makes you feel. ... 04.01.2022 It can be easy to think of 'word of mouth' as being this mystical form of marketing that exists in complete isolation from other forms of marketing, and one that relies solely on clients and referral partners recommending you to others for your excellent work. However, there is so much more to it than just that. - In 2021, being active on social media is actually a supercharged form of word of mouth marketing. If you're not showing up online, showing off your great work, and ...regularly reminding your network of your existence, your chances of receiving word of mouth leads are greatly diminished. - By being present on your social media profiles and keeping your content up-to-date, you are giving others a platform from which to sing your praises, share your work, and inform their own network of your existence. - Are you lacking in time, knowledge, or confidence when it comes to social media? Book in for a strategy session with us via the link in our bio, or contact us to find out more about our social media management service. See more
