Good luck to those who still have to sit, especially with the difficulties everyone is experiencing from COVID-19.

Well send you an inbox to arrange the drop off. We wish everyone a happy Easter long weekend. 10.01.2022 - A message from James. As news of the COVID-19 develops we are continuing to take strict precautions and ensure we do our part to protect you and our staffs health. Our office is open and we are holding meetings. Please let us know if you would like to make alternative arrangements such as deferring meetings until later in the year, meeting on the phone or meeting via video conferencing. Our staff and systems are setup to work from home and we are ready to make this move if... required. We have made several changes to our office to ensure we comply with government requirements: 1. Our waiting room is closed and we will ask you to go straight to the meeting room on arrival. 2. We will ask you to apply hand sanitiser on arrival. 3. We will not shake your hand (that one has been hard!) and we will maintain the 1.5m spacing. 4. Wherever possible we will use only one meeting room in the office, and this room will be disinfected after each meeting. This includes tables, light switches, door handles, pens and computer equipment. 5. This afternoon the Prime Minister announced further restrictions on non-essential gatherings, including a limit of one person per four square meetings. Our office meets these requirements and we will advise you prior to the meeting if we have to limit numbers. 6. We ask that if you are feeling unwell you do not come into the office. I will continue to provide updates on the domestic and global markets as this pandemic evolves. Should you have any concerns, or youd like to have a chat, please get in contact with either myself or Caitlin. We wish the best to your family and friends during this difficult time.

09.01.2022 Today we launched a COVID-19 Support page on our website, which has what you need to know on the many and varied government support packages. It includes easy to understand explanations and instructions on how to apply. Also included is a FAQ section where you can ask questions and get the answers you need. Check out our COVID-19 Support page below.

08.01.2022 The COVID-19 crisis and recent government policy to allow people to withdraw up to $20,000 from superannuation has highlighted issues with superannuation funds that hold high proportions of unlisted assets, James discusses this in further in his article below.

03.01.2022 We continue to see further changes to COVID-19 Government support packages and have updated our website with the latest information. In particular, weve added details on the Jobkeeper payment, which includes who is eligible and how to apply. The ATO is now taking applications for early withdrawal of superannuation. While this can be an important payment for people to survive during this difficult time we encourage you to consider the longer term implications of accessing you...r superannuation. A small withdrawal now can have a big impact when you retire. A 27 year old withdrawing $10,000 of super now could have seen this grow to be worth $102,857 at retirement. The impact on other ages is shown below and more information can be found at https://www.vanguardinvestments.com.au//withdrawals-add-up If you have any questions please contact the office on 03 5561 5180 or [email protected]

03.01.2022 If you were adversely financially affected by COVID-19 and had to access your superannuation early, there are ways you can contribute those funds back into your super, which Caitlin discusses in today's video. #WFPD2020 #FPWeek2020

03.01.2022 On Melbourne Cup Tuesday this week the RBA cut interest rates from the historic low of 0.25% to the new historic low of 0.1%. Along with this change, they commenced ‘quantitative easing’, which is a rather abstract term but with big consequences. The RBA has committed to buying $100 billion of government bonds from the banks over the next six months, which will give the banks more money and hopefully further lower the cost of borrowing. We have been watching the responses fro...m the big banks. Most have already reduced their fixed rates, but standard variable rates have been left untouched. As always it is important to check with your bank you are getting the best deal, and be prepared to shop around. #lowerinterestrates #shoparound

02.01.2022 Happy birthday to you Brooke for last Thursday. Who said you cant have a week long celebration for your special day anyway?! #throwbackthursday #birthdaygirl

02.01.2022 On this day each year, we are reminded to check in with our mates and ask if they are OK?
