25.01.2022 Its been a busy week here at Amboas Beef, on Tuesday we finished weining our Charbray and brahmans, they all get the dream team Multimin, B12, and a shot of Cydectin LA to give them the best possible head start. Craig was back out to see how the program was going and we did some fecal sampling for a worm count to see how our animals are going. #brahmans #Charbray #fnqcattle #ambossbeef Multimin Performance Ready Challenge

20.01.2022 So the rain has kept us at bay from doing anything productive the last two weeks, but the sun has returned and the paddock have dried out a bit so yesterday it was straight into it, Craid the Virbac rep showed up just in time to give a hand. Starting our weaning for this year, and that allwaays involves a dose of multimin and B12 to give them a head start. @MultiminPerformanceReadyChallange

20.01.2022 A few videos from drafting today. Not only is craid a decent virbac rep, he is also a handy camera man @MultiminPerformanceReadyChallange

17.01.2022 So here they are the results of our Multimin Challange. For anyone who has never used Body Condition scoring the link is bellow. https://futurebeef.com.au//body-condition-score-for-beef-/ So our challange... we relocated from the Atherton tablelands to the coast. 1000 ft difference in altitude, a whole new climate and very different pastures.... We has 35 cows all (5-6Yo) with calves and all PTIC- the control group We also had 35 first calf heifers (2-3yo), with calves and PTIC Multimin Girls. They all condition scored 4-5 After the move they all received the same treatment, for parasites, were rotated through paddocks on the same intervals and their calves were weaned at the same time. The cows as a mob averaged a 3 at the end of the challange. The first calf heifers as a mob averaged a 4. Healthy happy cows are #1 in a breeding operation. You have better pregnancy rates, higher calving and weining rates and higher weining weights for calves. *** on a side note*** All the calves weined from both mobs received multimin, CYDECTIN LA, and B12. The calves from the multimin girls held condition and were in general in better condition 2 weeks after weining then those from the control group. Multimin Performance Ready Challenge
