21.01.2022 A picture of the pride of our fleet, 1985 Leyland tiger. Fun fact only two of these busses were fabricated for ambulance use as a disaster relief bus built with stretchers lining the sides and hazmat suits, this bus is the only bus still together today as the other bus was written off.

In 1960, the North Eastern District was the largest in Victoria, owned 17 vehicles and had a permanent staff of 16.... In 1959, its fleet of ambulances traveled 138,434 miles in handling 3916 cases of all kinds, medical, surgical or casualty.
