08.01.2022 An invitation to all first responders The Code 9 Foundation proudly invite you to attend a presentation by world renowned artist and speaker Daniel Sundahl. Daniel is a 20 year veteran firefighter-paramedic from Canada, who will be sharing his personal mental health journey as a first responder and how it deeply affected his life. More importantly, as a peer, he shares his experience with post traumatic growth and recovery. Daniel is also internationally recognised for his ic...onic emergency service artwork. These works originate from jobs either he has attended or from jobs his international peers have attended worldwide. Daniel and his art have featured on multiple media platforms around the world, each time with the goal of raising awareness around mental health amongst first responders and reducing any associated stigma. His visit to Australia is to gather material to then paint a series of pieces depicting & promoting the work done by the incredible and diverse emergency services here in Victoria, and to promote a positive mental health message at the same time.
