10.01.2022 Here are some pictures of a truck cylinder head that has had water getting into the cylinder head for a long time You can see all the corrosion around the valves and the next picture shows another cylinder with no corrosion The video shows how badly the valves were leaking, leaving the vehicle with very bad compression ... If you are experiencing water loss at all, get your vehicle looked at, there is a reason for the water loss especially coming into the warmer months Please call if you have any issues affecting your vehicle to get it looked at Thanks Adam and Rachel 07 4126 3325

08.01.2022 Hi Everyone Just to let all our customers know, yes we are still open in this difficult time and we are operating as normal with a few slight changes, and those are as follows We are sanitising all customers cars before and after work is done on them, this includes steering wheels, gear shifters, hand brakes, door handles etc ... We are spraying all office surfaces, eftpos machines etc between customers Test driving with customers in the car will not be happening at this stage and we have stopped all non essential sales reps from coming to the workshop Also we will be putting in place only one customer is to be in the office at one time, the only exception to this will be children who would then be left unaccompanied outside These measures are in place to protect us and our customers Thanks Adam and Rachel AMC Mechanical 07 4126 3325

01.01.2022 So we have had a busy start to the year and haven't had much time to post anything Last week we got a call about a noise when the clutch pedal was pushed in on a hilux So we pulled the gearbox out to investigate the absolutely unbearable scream that the clutch was making to find this... Spigot bearing not much left at all and the throwout bearing completely seized and trying to make its way through the pressure plate Safe to say at 370000kms on the original clutch they got there money's worth
