23.01.2022 And that’s a wrap! The last quarter of 2019 has been huge and the guys have given it their all in the heat these last few weeks. With bellies full after our traditional ‘last day feast’ of prawns and a few beers, we’re shutting the gates on 2019. 18.01.2022 Our customers know we bend all sorts of metal sections including pipe, RHS, flat bar, angle and channels (pictured). What our customers may not know is our industry lingo like toe in or toe out (we didn't make it up). That's why we've created a technical page on our website. It includes: - pictures of profiles or shapes (round pipe, square etc), ... - various orientations we curve (toe in, toe out), - capacity charts (how tight we bend stuff!). 05.01.2022 February was another busy month at AMC. The last job was a big push to finish these 140 pieces, which form part of sound suppressing rings for large D10 and D11 earth moving equipment.

Job tasks and responsibilities The successful candidate will shadow the company director to be able to roll/curve numerous size sectional steel & aluminium products up to 310UB's. This includes accurately interpret job specifications and technical drawings. Other tasks may include: machine die changes, cutting, drilling, welding, machine maintenance, and assisting with loading / unloading of materials. Skills and experience Operating curving & bending machinery, working with carbon steel, stainless & aluminium you will ideally have experience in this field, though consideration will be given to applicants having gained practical knowledge of other steel working disciplines and interpreting technical drawings. Depending on your previous experience, employment may commence under a fast track "Section Curving" traineeship with Queensland Tafe.
