24.01.2022 AMEB Online Exams and Online Courses will be unavailable from 10.30pm Tuesday 30th June to 9am Wednesday 1st July AEST (10pm 8:30am for SA and NT candidates, ...or 8.30pm 7am for WA candidates) for website maintenance. During this time no exams or course tests can be taken or submitted. We advise all candidates who may have planned to take Official Exams on June 30th to ensure that their exams are completed and submitted before 10.30pm, or to consider delaying their Official Exam until July 1st. During this scheduled system maintenance, we are moving to a browser-based version of our online theory course tests. Each lesson test will launch in a new browser window. AMEB software will no longer be required for online courses. These browser-based tests will allow course candidates to complete their lesson tests on devices such as tablets and smartphones in addition to laptop and desktop computers. We hope that this update will make our online courses easier to use and more accessible for anyone without access to a computer. This change will not affect any enrolments in online theory exams. All exams will continue to use the AMEB Exams software. Learn more https://exams.ameb.edu.au/notice

23.01.2022 AMEB Victoria continues to follow the advice provided by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and the Australian Government Department of Health in relation to coronavirus (COVID-19). Our number one priority is the health and wellbeing of AMEB candidates, accompanists, examiners and administrative personnel. We have decided to defer the start of Practical examinations until 18 May, but will monitor the situation and adapt accordingly. Enrolments received for the... First Metropolitan Practical session (28 April to 17 May) will be deferred to the Second Metropolitan Practical Session (18 May to 5 June). Teachers/enrollers for the combined First and Second Practical sessions are requested to advise AMEB Victoria by email of any dates to avoid no later than Friday 27 March. We will continue to monitor the situation with COVID-19 and will consult with enrollers and examiners regarding tentative examination dates before confirming exam timetables. Additional hygiene protocols for our examining studios in Hawthorn will be put into place from 18 May and we will be informing enrollers and candidates of these measures in due course. AMEB Victoria administrative personnel are available during business hours to answer enquiries by telephone or email and to assist with enrolment. Our best wishes to students, teachers and examiners as we cope with this unprecedented situation.
