13.01.2022 What would I tell my #youngerself Tinashe, he is an alcoholic and you can't change him!!! (Could be a she too). Nomatter how pure or good African woman you think you are, do yourself a favour and let him go. What he needs right now is #help but not you to be the punching bag of his #trauma You are working hard to support an alcoholic and that will not top up your physical/emotional bank account. But it will give you a headache in the morning, birth lies and denials.... It is not your duty to change an alcoholic, they need to realise they have a problem and seek the help they need. You can drink all you want but whatever trauma you have been through will still be there. Save yourself first. No one is perfect!!!!
