24.01.2022 Times tables assistance.

24.01.2022 This young man still needs some work on his handwriting technique (particularly where to start the letter and the sizing). As well as practising the handwriting, we also incorporated identifying beginning, middle and ending sounds of short words. One activity... multiple outcomes.

22.01.2022 Highlighters- making life better since.... {I’ve actually got no idea!} This student colour coded her angles-acute, obtuse, and right angles were all assigned a colour and bang- all of a sudden it was super fun. @stabiloau @stabilo #highlighters #angles #learningaboutangles #maths #measurement #gradefivemaths

13.01.2022 Not that this is news to ASHA members, but it's always nice when the World Health Organization says it, too. Babies do not need screens.* According to the repor...t, babies should not be exposed to screens at all and instead engage in interactive floor-based play. It also recommended that kids 1 to 4 years old have at least three hours of physical activity daily. (*AAC devices excluded) In sum: ditch the screens and swap in reading, storytelling, singing and puzzles. 05.01.2022 Skittles are a fun way to practise reading CVCC and CCVC words. I use masking tape to put words and dots on them so that I can reuse the same ones over and over again.

04.01.2022 Do you know the difference? This one is one of the trickiest.

02.01.2022 Tens Frame Bingo, Counting by 3’s, and alphabet puzzles. Little snapshot of the week so far
