25.01.2022 Why do you do what you do? In 2012 I finished a degree in graphic design and photography, that same year my friend asked me to shoot her wedding and I excitedly agreed. I was so nervous but I had the most wonderful day. Id figured out what I love. 8 years later and over 100+ weddings later, I still cry during the speeches, marvel at your dress, love how creative you have been choosing your flowers and decor! I love what I do!

25.01.2022 Finding the right dress is a lot like finding the right husband. well, uh, sort of. Whenever I catch up with my brides one of the first questions I ask is if they have found the dress. Not only does it give me a great feel for the theme of the wedding, it also tells me about her taste, and her approach to wedding planning. This little white number can set the tone for the day and can be one of the most exciting parts of planning the wedding day. Eva shared with me recently I always imagined getting married in a dress that had long lace sleeves and a high neck. I found the perfect dress at Grace loves lace. When I wore it I felt elegant and confident and the moment I tried it on I knew it was the one! Do you have a tale to tell about finding your wedding dress?

25.01.2022 This year definitely didn't hold what we thought it would, but we have so many things we can be thankful for, am I right? 24.01.2022 Do you ever think of the little miracles that happen around you every day? The only way too explain this bouquet is there was a miracle! Right before this photoshoot with @ wildwoodfloralsperth there were no shipments of flowers coming into Australia, but we weren't worried- theres a stunning flower farm in the south west of Australia. 20.01.2022 Three things you might not know about me- I LOVE spaghetti Bolognese, I eat it once a week, take me to an Italian restaurant- it IS what ill order. I accidentally became a photographer- 11 years ago I went to uni to study graphic design and was offered a double degree in photography with no extra work so I did it and fell totally in love! Ever since I was a kid I was fascinated with cameras and photography, it was fun but I never considered it as a career until someone asked me to photograph their wedding. I have a sausage dog named Winston who is a lil naughty but super cute and a bestie husband- Isaac who is becoming super fab at being my assistant photographer.

19.01.2022 Friends, can anyone relate? Being a "gal boss," an entrepreneur isnt as easy as Instagram loves to make it look, am I right? I feel like theres a daily cycle - maybe even hourly - where we are on the highest mountaintop and the lowest valleys. The comparison game, the fear, the doubt, they creep on in but at the end of the day we cant imagine doing anything else with our lives. Glamorous or not, its always worth it. 19.01.2022 Albert and Eva both studied at UWA, and on occasion would go for lunch at a beautiful restaurant called bayside kitchen across from campus. One day while having a lunch Eva mentioned that this would be a wonderful location for a wedding reception. Then when the time came Albert made one phone call and they were booked in. 18.01.2022 Perfectly imperfect! This is how I describe my own wedding and almost all of the 100 + weddings Ive witnessed. Weddings dont always go to plan do they, Pinterest and instagram makes it look like they do, but im telling you- often they dont. We had torrential rain and gail force winds, my tan started to patch off in the morning, I forgot to order enough cutlery BUT it was the very best day. I laughed, I cried, I had the best time on the dance floor with my gals and I wouldn't change a thing. So whats my biggest piece of advice? You cant control it so ROLL WITH IT. Remember that this is the beginning of your life together, take time to take in the moments and be present

17.01.2022 I was on my way to the airport and I realised I didnt bring my camera!!!! Well, our friends had a little Fuji film camera they hadn't tested yet in their glove box they handed to me....you won't believe it but- IT WORKED and gave me the most stunning images of one of my favourite places in the world! I have travelled to 11 different countries and many many cities and this was one of my favourites. Vietnam- an untouched gem. Like fly to the opposite end of the globe and wake up at 4am on a wet New York morning to shoot these babes as the sun came up and the city was still sleeping! Where there is so much love circling the room that you want to hold onto that moment for a long time? Heres a little snippet Georgias heart warming speech- I was fourteen when I first fell in love with Ashley, but I cannot for the life of me remember what moment sparked it. All I remember is that Id had crushes before as all teenagers do, but wit...h Ash it was different. Upon reflection it is fair to say that we initially possessed an intensely besotted and enamoured kind of limerence. As we have grown older we have experienced heart break, pain and challenges, the kind of love we now posses is very different. But I believe it to be far more beautiful. A chosen love, a committed love. A love that is enacted even when romance is not necessarily felt. It is a love that requires sacrifice, selflessness and genuine friendship. A love that deepens rather than diminishes in hardship. Theres no one else I would choose to have on my team. See more

04.01.2022 I accidentally became a photographer! I was a fresh 19 year old at university studying graphic design and I was told I could add in a photography degree. I thought- why not! Throughout my degree I gravitated towards photographing people and the connection they held together. Then in the last year of my degree a friend asked me to photograph her wedding and that is where my love for weddings was birthed! I love the dress, the layered cak...e, I listen during your vows, I cry during your speeches (seriously, there have been tears) It's safe to say a wedding day never feels like work... and that's why I know I am right where I need to be.
