Opening Thursday 1st October 4pm (the old Pub With Two Names) will take on its original name ‘The Highlander’ which the building was born with ...and had this name for 100 years before becoming The Peter Lalor for 50 years and then The PWTN for only 2 years. We have transformed this massive building back to a glorious pub with amazing dining food focusing on inhouse butchery and local produce and with the owner being a qualified sommelier wine specialist, you will be sure to have amazing well priced wines, beers and cocktails. A local artist has done a huge wall mural, lots of vibes, industrial furniture and private dining spaces and a function centre. Live music will be another feature coming soon. 08.01.2022 The decision to exclude farmers markets from permitted food retailers has been overturned! Both Coburg Farmers Market and Alphington Farmers Market will be runn...ing this weekend. After a crazy day lobbying, Miranda and other VFMA accredited farmers market reps have just come off the phone meeting with the decision-makers and the Government have overturned the ruling to exclude farmers markets from trading! At this late notice not all stallholders will be able to attend but we will open the gates for anyone who can and we beg you to rally last minute and show your support for Victorian farmers and producers, and the kick-arse MFM team. Please help us make accredited farmers markets count!
