23.01.2022 A before and after of an unsafe lash removal and new full set application. What is wrong with the top photo? Too much glue was used, they are stuck together in clumps and the extensions were too long and thick for the clients natural lashes.... This client had only been getting the top lashes for 2 months and as you can see by the bottom photo, it was still enough to damage her natural lashes. If you look closely you can see that some natural lashes are bent and have been left without a new extension added as they were too unhealthy. You will also notice that the extensions are thicker in certain areas because the dodgy extensions left the client with gaps in her lash line. Unfortunately, this damage could be permanent. No lash technician is perfect and there is always room for improvement. So to the ones in the area who are knowingly doing unsafe work (you know who you are) please stop. You are putting your clients eye health at risk and giving a bad name to the industry. If you continue to damage your clients natural lashes eventually they will have no lashes left to lash and you will lose that income. Get properly trained and I promise your clients and your business will thank you for it.

This is what can be achieved when lashes are applied correctly and clients follow their aftercare instructions! We are now extending her time between infills, meaning she has to come in less often and ends up saving money just by looking after her lashes!

01.01.2022 PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH First picture is a set done by another lash tech that I had to remove as they were harming the natural lashes and were not safe for the clients eyes. The next two photos are of a safe and proper volume set that I completed on the client after the removal. Unfortunately, removals of dodgy lash jobs are a regular occurrence due to an abundance of untrained/uncaring lash techs in the area. When choosing a lash technician,as a general rule always mak...e sure: - That they do not use too much glue. The glue should be almost undetectable, the lashes should always be seperate and not look glued together. - If you have pulling, tugging or pain while they grow out/inbetween fills get them removed immediately, this is causing damage to your natural lashes which could result in losing all of your natural lashes permanently. - If possible (by photos or checking your own lashes) make sure the lashes they do are no longer than double the length of the clients natural lashes. Otherwise the extensions are most likely too heavy and it causes damage. - That they take an appropriate amount of time to do a full set. Any Classic Full Set should take anywhere between 1 hour 15mins - 2.5 hours. A proper Russian Volume Full Set should take no shorter than 1 hour 45 mins - 3 hours. ANY TIME LESS THAN THESE AND I CAN ALMOST GUARANTEE IT IS AN IMPROPER/UNSAFE SET. Please look after your eyes ladies. When it comes to extensions, cheapest or fastest is never best.
