11.01.2022 Some good news in 2020: one of our young friends seeking asylum has been offered a scholarship at a local university. One of our wonderful volunteers assisted in this application and we couldn't be happier!! As this person is on a Temporary Protection Visa, they are not eligible for the HELP loan and are charged international student fees, meaning that without this scholarship it would not possible for them to attend university. This is big news as it will benefit her family and whole community. We are beyond excited!! Congratulations!
