18.01.2022 Have just completed a radio interview on Three D Radio.( Arts Garden hosts Gillian Hunter amd David Corkill of Duo/ Trio Montagne fame who often perform at Amicus events ). The interview can be replayed by downloading the THREE D RADIO app within the next 28 days.... The interview was with sculptor of renown, Scott Eames ( Visual Arts Patron of Amicus ) re various of his commissioned works, among them, a mural depicting the arrival of British migrants ( affectionately dubbed '10 Poms' at the time) at Para Hills Community Club and a bust of well-known arts reviewer/critic, Sunday Mail columnist,ABC announcer, Peter Goers. With us in the studio was an exquisitely crafted maquette of Queen Adelaide. 50 of these have been produced are on sale to raise funds for the life-sized statue which will eventually have pride of place in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. Bookings for the Amicus dinner ( individual purchases) in the Banquet Room, Oxford Hotel, O' Connell St are filling up...max 20 pax . 16.01.2022 Amicus Global Inc, in conjunction with CEDAC, the Victoria League for Commonwealth Friendship SA and Salt Lake Rotary Club, Utah, USA, is proud to be conjointly administering funding for vocational training projects at Best Future Centre project in Nakivale, Uganda. 12.01.2022 Performing Arts Patron-opera/cabaret singer, Johanna Allen and Visual Arts Patron-sculptor, Scott Eames with a maquette ( 1 of 50 signed pieces) of the Queen Adelaide bronze statue which will eventually be surmounted on a plinth in a prominent public position. Johanna spoke to those gathered re highlights of her illustrious musical career.
