24.01.2022 Parabolic Lightcloud on show at Sefton gardens in the UK. This was our first work that involved rope weaving with lights. The inspiration came from Simone's fascination with the fibonacci spiral and desire to use this mathematical ratio as the foundation of an artwork. When exploring a methodology Simone came across coral formations and starfish that had intricate lineworks with spheres at their intersection points. These forms inspired the Parabolic lightcloud, using rope to create form and 360 ball lights to create an organic light source. #amigoandamigo #paraboliclightcloud #lightart #installationartist #rope #ledlight #design #lightdesign
