21.01.2022 We all can agree that the last two weeks have had a huge impact on most of us. From the plane crash that was felt all over the world to the meaningless killings in New Zealand. The two incidents have been hard knocks especially for those directly impacted by these losses. Thinking about it, it would be safe to say that those who died in these tragedies didn’t leave home thinking they would never return. Most of them don’t think along those lines as we live our homes and loved...Continue reading

15.01.2022 Mid week Tip It’s okay to start your business by default. It’s not okay to grow the business by default. You have to be creative and strategic as you grow. ... Focus on continuously improving: A)who you want to serve ( Clients) b) what you intend to offer ( service and product) C) how you want to serve ( you, your team, your business cultures and values) Focus on building your business by design. #businesstips #businessgrowth #businessbydesign
09.01.2022 Managing Finance as a couple. Money and finance issues can be a deal breaker in relationships. I have coached and helped a few married couples and newly engaged couples on this matter. Knowing your partner and their money language is key to avoiding heartaches, emotional and financial trauma. Couples tend to clash on finances as they have different opinions as to how to manage finance. ... One person is usually the big spender with no consideration of budgets or available funds. They live in the ‘NOW ‘and are believers of the saying ‘things will sort themselves out’ and frequently say ‘we will be fine’ The other half is in most cases the careful spender and the walking calculator. They love to plan ahead and avoid any extravagance at all costs. Anything outside the plan sets them off In a panic. Their constant phrase is ‘but we didn’t discuss or plan this!’ Having different money languages tend to create issues and anxieties for one party more than the other which then leads to misunderstandings and fights. Figuring out yours and your partner’s money language creates room for less fights, better understanding and improved finance management either as a couple or as individuals. Here are 3 options to help manage dicey money situations as a couple: Option 1: Combined Finance: A single pot of funds where you and your spouse jointly save, invest and spend from. Use this option if you both fully agree as how to the finances will work. Option 2 : Separate Finances : keeping your Finance seperate without any interference. Here you keep your funds seperate and agree on what expenses you would both be responsible for in the home. Option 3 : His, Hers and Ours: combination of Option 1 & 2. This means you have a joint account for all family related expense and seperate accounts for personal expenses. Take your pick!
