23.01.2022 Ammas latest message part 1.

22.01.2022 "The essence of #motherhood is not restricted to women who have given birth; it is a principle inherent in both women and men. It is the attitude of the mind. I...t is love and that love is the very breath of life. No one would say, I will breathe only when I am with my family and friends; I wont breathe in front of my enemies. Similarly, for those in whom motherhood has awakened, love and compassion towards everyone is as much part of their being as breathing." Amma (Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi) See more

21.01.2022 We held Canberra Satsang last night in beautiful Jervis Bay with a group of South Coast devotees in person and devotees online from Canberra, Japan and NSW. We enjoyed meditation, chanting, prayers, a talk by Amma and bhajans. This was followed by a delicious meal all while social distancing. We look forward to coming back for Satsang again.

16.01.2022 Today is Sri Adi Shankaracharya Jayanti. During 19th January 2000, the 69th Sankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, Kanchipuram,Tamil Nadu - His Holiness Sri... Jayendra Saraswati Swami visited Amritapuri Ashram. During his visit Sri Jayendra Saraswati Swamigal said "In the holy land of Kerala pious Adi Shankaracharya took birth. Likewise many mahatmas have incarnated in this land. In this Kali Yuga, Mata Amritanandamayi is amongst us.She is graciously guiding her devotees in the path of bhajans, devotion and service". For many years now, I have been eagerly waiting to visit this sacred place. All of you are indeed blessed and virtuous (by having Amma as Guide and Guru)" Swami reminded everyone that "Considering others with the attitude of love by itself is a great service. As this love develops, most of the problems that our society and humanity faces will vanish and people can live in peace and happiness" Swami attained Samadhi on 28th February 2018. "Sri Jayendra Saraswati Swami demonstrated Courage, Fearlessness and Broadmindedness. These indeed are the qualities a true sannyasi should have. - Amma

16.01.2022 At rather quiet Mothers Kitchen yesterday, we served 30 meals for the vulnerable people at the Red Cross Roashouse in Canberra central. Dhal and Raita were made by Anusha and the cooking team made Pumpkin and chickpea curry and rice. Meenakshi made yummy coconut sweets as well. 11.01.2022 Turn on captions [CC] for Subtitles Subtitle available in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, Tamil, Kannada & Hindi #FromAmmasHeart brings you th...e nectar of Ammas wisdom to your life. This video is an excerpt from the Inaugural Address by #Amma, Sadguru Mata #Amritanandamayi Devi at the 11th edition of the Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair based on the theme, Foster Womens Honour Speaking on the occasion, Amma stressed gender equality. #Womanhood is the underlying principle and essence of being a woman For Amma, men and #women are equal: both have been blessed by God and Nature with unique qualities and talents. For society to grow and flourish, the contributions of both men and women are equally needed at a foundational level. The fact that we are seeing more women participating in political, social and financial spheres today is a great relief. Where women are honoured, divinity showers blessings. Where they are dishonoured, neither action nor sacred riteno matter how greatwill yield benefit, says a famous verse from the Manu Smriti. The soul of Indian culture is reflected in this verse. Society has branded woman as helpless, weak and fickle and shackled her with this conditioning. But there is nothing a woman cannot do if she sets her mind to it. All that is needed is to create the right circumstance to awaken her inherent strength. Today, many men consider women to be just a bodymere flesh Many of them have the attitude, After all, meat has no life; its just meant to be eaten. We have completely forgotten womanhood. We have forgotten the greatness of motherhood. This is why many men have made it their pastime to intentionally abuse women. The strength of a woman is in her motherhood. Motherhood is a transforming power. It is a power that acts by understanding the heart of others. Only a real mother can provide praise and scolding in a balanced manner. God has graced women with a divine boonthe wombwhich makes compassion very natural for them. This inherent compassion that women have is extremely valuable. Motherhood is full of compassion This compassion is mistaken as her weakness. But it should be balanced with proper understanding. Woman are not helpless and dependent like little kittens; they have the courage and strength to roar like lions. They are not candles that need to be lit by someone else; they are the self-effulgent sun. Men may have more muscle power than women. But women have one muscle that make them more powerful than men. They must strengthen that muscle. It is the muscle of the heart. The strength, beauty and fragrance of our future society should be defined by todays mothers. The mothers milk not only nourishes the childs body, it also develops the childs mind, intellect and heart. In the same way, the life lessons and values imparted by the motherthe role-modelprovide strength and courage the child will use in the future. Only when mothers awaken and strive for this will we witness the birth of a new age, filled with love, compassion and prosperity. #MataAmritanandamayiDevi #Amrita #Amma __________________________________________ Get News Updates Visit https://amritapuri.org Join Telegram https://t.me/amma4bot eMail Newsletter - https://amritavani.com For More News on Ammas Initiatives Stay Tuned To https://amritaworld.org https://fb.com/MataAmritanandamayi https://instagram.com/MataAmritananda... https://twitter.com/Amritanandamayi https://youtube.com/Amritanandamayi https://t.me/Amritanandamayi

11.01.2022 Turn on captions [CC] for Subtitles Subtitle available in French, Spanish, Italian, & Hindi #FromAmmasHeart brings you the nectar of Ammas wisdom to your life.... The waters of the three holy rivers reside at the Sadgurus feet. We get the benefit of a thousand holy pilgrimages when we surrender all our likes and dislikes to the Master and serve selflessly. That presence is the greatest Himalayan peak. It is equivalent to bathing in the holiest of waters. Our ego is transformed in to waters of compassion and this is offered to the world. This love overflows from our heart just as milk boils over and flows to the entire world. What this love awakes, the disciple thinks, My Guru should never be dishonors due to any of my actions. To achieve this, how should I react with people? We should see others as parts of our Gurus body and serve them. When we feel anger towards a person, we should try to see our Masters smiling face in the place of that persons face. Even if we feel anger, when we see the Gurus smiling face we will be able to control this anger. We may have many different thoughts. But, when we organize and arrange these thoughts, understanding which to reject, that is when we create poetry. You cannot just write everything down. It takes a lot of thought and contemplation. Some people tell Amma, I feel a lot of anger towards a specific person. Amma said, When you feel anger, imagine Ammas face looking at you and smiling. Later a devotee came and told Amma, Initially, when I imagined this, I did feel anger within but I was able to avoid expressing my anger. Eventually, I could really feel a difference. The love we have towards the master inspires goodness within those around us. This love also helps us awaken good qualities within ourselves. We all have divine water within, but we are not digging in the right place. At present, we are digging in the desert the desert of the ego. We will not find water there. If we try to plant a seed on a rock, will the seed sprout? Will a seed in the desert sprout? The seed will only sprout in the water of compassion and selfless love. We should love and serve everyone and everything as parts of our Masters body. It may be difficult, but we need to keep trying. Even if we fail a hundred times, even a single victory is a big victory. We may fail a test multiple times, but once we finally pass it, we need not take the test ever again. __________________________________________ Get News Updates from #Amrita.
