As anyone who knows us will tell you, we at Ammonite have been saying that the exact opposite is true - online learning can make huge inroads into actually making the learning experience a very personal experience for the students and the educators. 07.01.2022 Firstly, thank you to everyone who attended our first User Group meeting in March. We had a lot of good feedback and some great suggestions for future topics. The recordings of the meeting are available on our Blog page, Our next User Group Meeting is on Wednesday 19th of April commencing at 10:00am, QLD time. ... The topic for this webinar is "Scenario Assessments". This is a new type of assessment that is available in the TOMS platform and Mike will be taking us through how to set up and use this new assessment type. As this is a fairly significant topic, we thought it best to just to focus on Scenarios Assessments for this meeting. Naturally we will answer any other questions you have, should time permit. 05.01.2022 Our First User Group Meeting!! We are very pleased to announce our very first User Group meeting! This is very exciting for us!... The date for our first meeting is Wednesday the 15th of March at 10am, QLD time. We will be conducting this meeting as a webinar and it will finish at 11am. While we have a lot of ideas on what we would like to show you, Mike and Michi have been very busy developing some very exciting improvements, we are very keen to know what you would like covered. After all, our User Group meetings are there for you! We will be recording it so if you cant make this session, you will still be able to have a look at what we covered. 01.01.2022 An update on the White Card course. In response to mandatory Government legislation, the White Card course has changed. The new course, CPCCWHS1001, has additional requirements. This change has been implemented for the Queensland White Card and will be implemented for the Western Australian White Card from the 8th of December 2017.... Some of the key changes are: * it is now a 6 hour course * you will need access to some PPE items * you will need to complete a video assessment If you have started the old CPCCOHS1001A course for either the QLD or WA White Card, you will need to complete this course by the 7th of December 2017. However, White Cards themselves are not changing. It is only the course that you need to complete in order to be issued with a White Card that is changing. If you currently have a White Card, you do not have to get a new White Card as a result of this change by the Government. If you have any questions, call us on 1300 851 504
