24.01.2022 Just had a fantastic time showing off Stories and Structures to science teachers at CONASTA68 in Darwin. Lots of enthusiasm for the project and the learning resources. There was a big focus on Indigenous STEM/STEAM at the conference, which was great to see, and to learn what is happening around the country.

22.01.2022 Stories and Structures New Connections being installed at the Museum of Geraldton where it opens tomorrow. Hopefully lots of visitors and positive reactions.

15.01.2022 Check out the Learning Resources on the exhibition website. These have been specially developed to help teachers incorporate Indigenous perspectives in their teaching with themes related to the exhibition. They cover ages from primary to secondary and beyond. We also have a group on this Facebook page where you can share your classes' results and ideas. http://storiesandstructures.micro.org.au//learning-resourc

09.01.2022 Our Learning Resources were developed for us by Stones and Bones who also offer a range of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-focussed activities for schools, parties and more. Lots of good stuff on their page.

01.01.2022 The lovely people at Old Ways, New Ways, Kurongkurl Katitjin, Centre for Indigenous Australian Education and Research at Edith Cowan University have shot some great video for us of Nyoongar man, Jason Barrow, demonstrating how to make bush glue. This is an ancient and effective composite material, made from grass tree resin, charcoal and kangaroo poo. He then shows how to use this to create strong and durable tools. It is available on the Stories and Structures learning resources page http://storiesandstructures.micro.org.au//learning-resourc.
