02.01.2022 There are currently 106 children being detained on Nauru and another 60 detained in Australia awaiting their return to Nauru; children without the basic rights to freedom, safety and a happy childhood. Amnesty International is running the campaign 'Lost Children' to bring awareness to these forgotten children and are asking people to share their favourite childhood memory. These memories will be collected and delivered to the Australian government to underline exactly what it... is that the government is taking away from children in detention.
