09.01.2022 My friend, recognised refugee Saif Ali Saif, saw his wife and little boy yesterday, from the balcony of the Kangaroo Point hotel where he has been incarcerated ...for a year. He has spent most of the last three years separated from them, as he was the last of the refugee fathers to leave Nauru under Medevac. Yesterday, a big crowd outside the hotel chanted "LET HIM HUG HIS SON". Serco guards refused. That's right, Australia - after all the humane and principled treaties and conventions the modern Australian nation has signed, it's SERCO, ABF and the fascists Peter Dutton and Michael Pezzullo, who decide whether an innocent man can hug his wife and child.
