19.01.2022 The perfect summer bag! We have a small range of Telefomin online now all the way from the remote station town in the Sanduan Province that borders West Papua. To get in and out of Telefomin is very hard, there is a runway that small planes land on. Many of the surrounding villages and towns are connected by foot with weavers having to walk for days, weeks and sometimes longer to get in and out to sell their bilum. 03.01.2022 Natural fibres, natural dyes made entirely by hand by weavers in Okapa. On a recent trip Florence met with weavers in a neighbouring village, they sang while they walked the streets and drank coke and shared stories about bilum and life. This is life outside a factory, this is the life of a artisan weavers who work from home. We are so proud to do things differently, to be slow, to be connected with the natural way of village life.
