16.01.2022 New Scams We have been flooded with messages from the community after our last post about Benedict Horne. One of his latest scams involved a online poker club which has ended with him allegedly owing thousands of dollars to friends and family. ... He has also run a scam involving Wrest Point Casino poker tickets, the tickets were for a tournament that never happened due to COVID and are valued at around $600 each. Its estimated that he owes members of the poker community over 10,000 dollars in tickets. It is believed he has no intention of paying the money back and will not respond to any ticket owners.
05.01.2022 Scam Alert A man who goes by the name Benedict Horne has allegedly been scamming local hotel and pub goers out of thousands of dollars. It has been reported that he has swindled a 73 year old lady out of over three thousand dollars. Please be aware when dealing with this man, he targets the elderly and vulnerable with various scams.
