16.01.2022 This weekend, it will be exactly 1 year since the skies turned red. When the wind picked up speed, and so many new fires ignited. While people hastily started ...to evacuate, brought animals to safety and prepared for the worst, the sky turned an apocalyptic red as fire storms started to rip through. So many families in Nymboida, fought that day to save their houses, their livelihoods, their community and their lives. Almost 1 year later, thanks to so many wonderful volunteers having come from all over region, to help with the cleanup, creating shelter and organising supplies for the long road ahead of rebuilding. We’ve been honoured to have been asked to cater for 300 of these beautiful people, on a day of healing and connection. 16.01.2022 $4500 Is what we’ve donated to our local women’s shelter. $1 for every jar...... Can I say, that’s a massive amount of jars!!! Over the years, the sales of all those jars and bottles, kindly cleaned and donated by so many of you, have really added up. Filled with Amongst Gum Trees granola initially, but now also with honey, maple syrup, hemp oil and olive oil that we have on tap. As well as our organic tahini and coconut oil. So much local goodness... Thank you for keeping and returning your jars! If you have clean jars or bottles, please bring them in, they’ll be put to good use.
