18.01.2022 We are at a customers property today commencing a rewire to the entire premises after completing a wiring system inspection. Tough Rubber Sheathed (TRS) cable was used in buildings completed between the 1940’s and 1960’s. This type of cable only had a life span of 30 years and SHOULD NOT be reused - photos are evidence of the fire hazard it poses, and the reason why it should be removed. This rewire will be completed with new switchgear and a switchboard upgrade. ...
