04.01.2022 The story of the impact of COVID-19 on mass participation events in the US is being mirrored in Australia. The Australian Government is planning another round of stimulus in the second half of July and our industry must be recognised, not only for our critical economic contribution, but for the positive impact we have across regional tourism, and for driving a healthy, active community.

03.01.2022 Spartan Race AU & NZ are thrilled to be back racing. After a hectic year with COVID lock downs and lock outs all over Australia, and mass event cancellations across our industry, we are back. After 8 and a half months of no events, the Gold Coast is hosting our epic come back race the Spartan Gold Coast Trifecta weekend. We will have thousands of Spartans, new and experienced join us to enjoy the challenges of obstacle racing set amongst the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland... in the Numinbah Valley. Our Spartans will be running, crawling, balancing and climbing their way to personal victory. And even though the event will look and feel a little different with the COVID Safe Plan in place, we are certain they will have the time of their life. AROO! Registrations open until 5pm today, visit spartanrace.com.au/en/race/detail/7253/overview

02.01.2022 The Spartan Race Australia/NZ Trifecta took place last weekend on the Goldie and participants were excited to get back to competing! COVID Restrictions were in place and there were a number of audits on site from Government Officials. A very sad stat was the fact that 25,000 individual bottles of water were handed out. Not great sustainable practices and we are working hard to look at COVID safe solutions to ensuring participants stay safe and hydrated throughout events and w...e also look after the environment. Four new courses, loved and hated by the participants Huge teams entered with the largest over 50 Spartan Kids race had over 350 enjoy the fun and action Sponsors were back on board with Nature Valley, YoPro and Punish Nutrition all supporting the event
