17.01.2022 Here’s the old #recipe I changed to be #plantbased . I replaced the chicken with a #fakemeat but it would be just as good with #jackfruit #tofu #tempe ( #tempeh )or just more #veggies !!!! I changed the veg up a bit too, adding #broccoli , #greenbeans and grated #cucumber right at the end. Add water if it starts to dry out, this should be #saucy . Use rice or mung #noodles if you want #glutenfree free. I also used a #vegan #teriyakisauce made from #coconutnectar add #goodsalt and #freshgroundpepper to make it #evenmoredelicious

17.01.2022 As newborns, we eat because we are hungry. It's that simple. As we become adults. We learn. We listen, and we create habits. Then we start to look for new re...search that suggests what we need to eat to be "healthy" making the whole eating experience suddenly becoming repeatedly about> "when, where, what and how we should eat". And there lies what I like to call "post mindset eating disorders". We are quickly becoming humans looking for food restrictions that are a manifestation of our thoughts and feelings and suddenly become an obsession, while we start chancing google down for answers on the next food fad, plan or diet. We are slowing becoming the best calorie counters and born again nutritional scientists than ever before. While we count our protein serving size and put our dogma food helmets on, all while making breakfast before we head out the door to work.... It'z fucken annoying. Especially in the wellness industry. I see a lot of people starving themselves, choosing a raw food diet (not for healing) or the ones that turn ALL food into a liquid, "smoothie junkies", as an avenue to be thinner, cleaner and that word...yep that word... healthier... as we are constantly talking about what we can't eat. And what we shouldn’t eat. Let's get real, too much of everything is not good for you right? Everything in moderation!! My mum ALWAYs has said to me. Even to this day my 87-year-old mum that's been through a time when food was a right and not a privilege expresses to me..: Cynthia, be grateful that you get to eat, sure pile on the plants, but that's it, don't be looking into what they don't contain or what they might contain, just eat"!!!

Sauce is made of cashews , hemp seed, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, garlic, lemon juice white wine vinegar, nutritional yeast, salt, pepper, a little Dijon mustard, oil and some spring onions from the garden. A friend of mine has organised the family present situation so that everyone gives one gift, and you can only give something that you already owned, so that no new things are created.
