25.01.2022 Have you got a load of small jobs to do around your house but just don't seem to get around to doing them? I'm your answer "Handy Andy" your local handyman! This busy client just didn't have the time to do all these tasks so he called AMS Contracting Services to take care of them.

25.01.2022 This client is extremely happy with the end results of our team painting their lounge, kitchen, staircase and 2 bedrooms. All cornis in kitchen, doors jambs and windows in the lounge and kitchen. After painting was completed we vacumed flooring, moved the furniture back into position and rehung the paintings. All in the service of AMS Contracting Services.

23.01.2022 Hope you all had a merry Xmas and great new years eve! Here is the latest cast steel garden bench seat refurbishment. Totally stripped back resprayed black, new timber and stainless steel fixings.... The second picture is the next cast steel seat to be refurbished. I have another cast steel insert to put into the back rest to add another feature to the bench seat, post pix when complete.

21.01.2022 Here is our latest project finished today for some clients in Jambaroo. We ordered and assembled some soft touch closing cupboards and draws from Bunnings. (Kaboodal) Hand cut base kick plate to finish off the bottom and the addition of matching end cupboard plates to finish off the look required by the client. A hand made top from scratch of furniture grade pine to match the same cornace styling 45 as the existing table. Stripped down from 240mm x 30mm to 210mm wide to sui...t the width of the top of 630mm. This timber was biscuit cut and joined every 100mm for extra stength with size 20 biscuits and of course wood glue. (All joints under pressure with sash clamps for 24hrs.) An overhang of 36mm-38mm all round the edges on front and sides. A metal bracket was placed on all corners (non structural) to match in with an existing table made of Origan. 2 coats of stain/varnish and finished off with a lavender bees wax for a little extra protection an a nice Lavinder bouquet in the air. 19.01.2022 Here is a dismante/disposal of timber balustrade and new top plate installed by AMS Contracting Services. New stainless steel balustrade with glass panels fabricated and installed by D&T Balustrade systems. What a beautiful transformation bringing the new look into the future.

18.01.2022 11/05/2017 Hi there everyone. Sorry I have not been in contact or replied to many inquiries to AMS Contracting Services but I have unfortunately had to have further surgery and am looking at a further recoupertion period of at least the end of May if not longer, if I don't heal as well as expected. I understand if you want things done pronto and cannot wait for a couple of weeks another contractor may need to be engaged.... I am still able to quote for work at this point in time but it will be as mentiond a couple of weeks before any work can commence. Please keep in mind there will be a backlog of work and I will need to work through those first. Thank you for your patience. Once again I am very sorry if it has caused any inconvenience. 17.01.2022 And here is the "Welcome" sign that I made from horse shoes at its new home at a property in Kyogal NSW. Hung on the front gate to the property, looks great! Also the boot hangers also made from horse shoes.

16.01.2022 A client in Mangerton wanted only the bad step treads removed untill I suggested some uniformity in the first flight to the first landing he agreed and this is the end results. Treads are 2 X 140mm X 45mm per step. Another happy customer!

14.01.2022 Happy new year people! Hope your Xmas was a goodun! Well here is the completion of first client of 2019 and last client of 2018. Only completed in the heat wave of Jan 15th-18th 2019! Only thing left to do is cut the old fence into smaller pieces and disposal of it. (Hard wood fence good for fire) hint hint if anyone wants it. Cutting into smaller more handable sections Monday.

13.01.2022 Has your front door glass panel show piece broken? All you need to do is find your new glass piece and let us remove, dispose, replace with the new piece and put in new quad to keep the new section in place. We will also seal it to make it water tight as well

13.01.2022 Today I transformed a broken single chair, each arm was broken in 3 pieces and the backing was broken into 4 pieces. I welded them back together with cast steel rods prior to painting. All the timber was sanded back to naked timber and restained 3 times. All nuts, bolts and washers are 316 stainless steel.

13.01.2022 Repairs to a trailer cut out worst sections, refill with new plate, weld, grind and prime. NO WORRIES!

12.01.2022 A client of mine had just recently bought a decent sized property and needed a welcome sign and somewhere to hang their boots at the end of the day. They wanted something which represents rural living and keep the snakes out of their boots. I was given an idea and some horse shoes! They love them I hope they send me a picture of 1. 12.01.2022 Good afternoon people. This client rang and wanted to stabilize his pool fence. What can you do? No worries I said lets make it look like it was always there! Client:That is awsome Andy!... With the help of D&T Balustrade we fabricated this support and I installed it. Client absolutley had no worries now meeting compliance with council as the pool fence is now as solid as it was always ment to be. See more

11.01.2022 This client has used me on several occasions must be a happy customer! He wanted to match his eves and window frames to match his color bond panel door. Had to put 2 undercoat of special paint to stick to the powder coat then 2 top coats. Can you see the difference? Also the downpipes where white now blend in with the wall color.

10.01.2022 Your fence or gate seen better days? This fence between gate and boundry was uneven, different timber slats and timber dry rot had set in. The client wanted the fence replaced only which was completed in a day. Old fence removed and disposed of and the new one installed. Everyone please be carefull digging in your yard as often electrical cabling is not on property mapping.

10.01.2022 Hey everyone we have been quote busy this year thank you to all the people and establishments that have used AMS Contracting Services for your projects. Here are just a couple to recap this year to date.

10.01.2022 A client called late Monday afternoon 4th Sep 2017and was in a bit of a quandary. He has a photo shoot of his home on Friday 8th Sept 2017 as he is putting the house on the market. Trouble is the deck needs repairing "can ya help me out mate"? The gate to the deck needs attention as well OK A down pipe needs refixing to the gutter. 3 pannels were blown out of the pergola on the deck from heavy winds.... Sure can I said! It will be tight but I will get you ready for the shoot I said. After inspection there were several decking timbers need replacing all of the nails to tie down the existing decking timbers and a lick of paint. Refitted the down pipe, securely fixed in the roof pannels on the pergola (blew bloody gale force winds the next day and pergola stayed rock solid) , fixed the gate post to the house long hrs but we got there. Looks a million bux. Client very happy with the results and finished in time with a day in hand to set up the deck for the photo shoot. See more

10.01.2022 Hi everyone! Just completed a small deck with ramp for wheelchair access 2.4 m X 7m deck with 3.6m X 1.2m ramp (in time for Xmas) one very happy customer! In the new year I will wash the deck and oil it.

09.01.2022 Does your letterbox look a bit tired? Mould effected? Let us clean and treat your letterbox for mould spurs. We put a new house number and "no junk mail" signage on the letterbox as well as a new number at the front of the house.

05.01.2022 Do you need your letterbox to have a facelift? Go from drab to fab let us gurney your letterbox to remove all the mould ,dirt and grime, treat it for mould spurs and give it a new color! This client was very happy with his new revitalised letterbox.

04.01.2022 Does your table need a bit of a spring clean to rejuvenate its old self. This balcony table had years of dirt and ring marks from hot and cold drinks. Now looks as new as the day installed. I sanded it back with 3 grades of sand paper from course to medium to fine then cleaned of the dust and reoiled the surface with 2 coats of Cabot's Aquadecking oil. Next is the chairs!

03.01.2022 This client wanted his lumpy back yard flat and cut to its original contour so a bobcat was hired and off to work I went! Great results and the client was over the moon! Sorry forgot the before shot bugger. Removed approx 8 tonne of grass and soil and used some of it to fill in where it was low.

01.01.2022 Hi guys this client wanted to give their rental a bit of a spruce up and new paint on the exterior for some instant street appeal. Even the front and rear doors got a new coat of paint. What ya think?
