07.01.2022 About 9:30am on Thursday 7th May 2020 police stopped a Holden Rodeo towing a car trailer laden with another Holden Rodeo as it traveled east on the Great Wester...n HWY at Medlow Bath. A check of the trailer showed it weighs 840kg (tare) and has a maximum laden weight of 2000kg (ATM). The Rodeo loaded on the trailer weighs 1620kg (tare) plus accessories such as its bullbar add to its weight. Therefore the laden trailer weighed at least 2460kg, which is 460kg overweight. The driver was given a direction to unload and received an infringement for exceeding maximum laden weight $457 and 3 Demerit Points. See more
