23.01.2022 This girl is amazing. When I met her 16 years ago, she was a rebellious teen trying her best to navigate through a curve ball filled youth that she never asked for. She has known pain, she has known rejection, disappoinment, neglect, abuse and a multitude of feelings and pain that someone so young shouldn't know and yet she has kept going. Through the trials, the ups, the downs, the tragic death of her best friend and brother, being separated from her son and then helping h...im overcome his pain and transform him into an amazing little boy once reunited again. She is strength and resilience and courage that is incredible and admirable. And when she was feeling less than desirable, I swooped in with my camera and made her laugh and relax and was able to remind her that she is a queen. And a fine one at that.
