13.01.2022 Did you know that all our courses in 2021 are designed for online learning? Perfect for the pandemic! All of them will run out of The AMTA Studio in Parkdale, Melbourne, and most can be attended personally, but they have all been designed to be delivered online. #COVIDSAFE

10.01.2022 Happy New Year one and all! I hope no matter how it was spent you had a moment to count your blessings and think about you would like the new year to be. Just wanted to pass this info on to those of you in Tasmania. This is the AMTF’s first offering for schools, with teachers and music theatre performer programs yet to be released. I was involved with the inaugural festival and it’s a fantastic event.

10.01.2022 WA - WA based artists expression of interest for Perth International Cabaret Festival. In June 2021 the inaugural Perth International Cabaret Festival will be presented at the newly renovated His Majesty's Theatre. While PICF is a programmed event, they also want to provide additional opportunities to West Australian based artists, especially those who are new and emerging or those with smaller productions. This Expression of Interest is to start a conversation with you abou...t your ideas. Perth International Cabaret Festival is a festival that actively seeks to include, welcome and value unique contributions of all people, to give everyone a voice and an opportunity to tell their stories. The festival encourages First Nations peoples, young people, people living with disability, members of LGBTIQ+ community, senior artists and people from culturally diverse backgrounds to submit an expression of interest. 08.01.2022 Long time no speak! '2020 has been especially hard for performing arts schools - who got overlooked again and again in Government support and who had to suffer through an incredible lack of understanding by Governments around how they operate and what they needed to survive. With everything that was happening, and being based in Melbourne, and having my 3 yr old daughter Billie at home a big chunk of the year, I made the tough decision to turn the ghost light on at AMTA for... 6 months. But in 2021 we will be starting the year off with several new offerings in the pipeline! All the details are in the comments below with each pic of each upcoming course. Peruse them at your leisure between Xmas cake, chocolate, naps, watching the Boxing Day match (ps. that will be me singing the National Anthem at 10:21am to start off the match btw) and champers on New Years.
