Allan has been in the industry for more than 20 years and has a Bachelor degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry and an Honours degree in Analytical Chemistry from The University of New South Wales. Allan also completed his Doctoral studies at UNSW with a PhD in Analytical Chemistry. Allan has worked both here in Australia and Internationally in the USA, Japan and Europe. He worked in Analytical Chemistry fo...r several multinational technology firms including Waters Corporation, Dionex Corporation, Varian/Agilent, Aurora SFC and Protasis. He has worked in Silicon Valley for over 10 years in start-up and technology firms. Since returning to Australia in 2003, Allan has been a Committee member of Australian Standards; CH-026 for Laboratory Safety and QR-011 for Environmental Standards for Standards Australia and has worked for various companies in Safety, Environmental Services and HVAC industries.
