24.01.2022 I am currently doing my safe to return exercise course. It is about safely helping women exercise pre and postnatal. The homework this week is to practice what I have learned on other people. I was wondering if there is anyone on my friends list in my local area who would love to be a tester for me so I can continue building my skills and offer something of amazing value to the mums in the area.... This will involve a bit of touching and I will make sure I am clean and sanitized before doing this. In return for your help I am happy to give you some tips and guidance to help you reach your health and fitness goals. It will be filmed but not shared publicly as I want to review the way I am doing this. :) You do not have to be a mum to take up this offer. 22.01.2022 Very exciting times ahead for me. Going through this journey is helping me have a new understanding of my female clients. I did not understand until going through the first trimester how hard it can be with all day nausea, having no energy throw in low blood pressure, Hashimotos and low iron and you are very tired. I love that I am going through this though going through this is going to be able to help my clients in a new way while pregnant and recovering from birth. ... A part from myself feeling crappy so far my pregnancy is low risk and my baby is looking healthy. I am still exercising and running group sessions and one on one sessions. I am continuing to work on my own self love so that my child knows what they can do to work on their own self love and self worth yes I am still exercising but I am listening to my body and resting when my body tells me to. I know my child will be listening to the way I talk about myself which is why I have been looking in the mirror everyday complimenting my bloated tummy

18.01.2022 I had to get a general check up at my drs today. The first thing I had to do was step on those nasty scales. I know the scales are not everything but I really did not want to see the number. To my surprise though I am 5kg lighter this has been within a duration of four weeks of doing the drop a dress size program. All I have done was follow the meal plan on the program and continue with my weight lifting and once a week of cardio. ... How would you feel if you were 2-5kg lighter within the next four weeks? 18.01.2022 Did you know that your pelvic floor can be too tight? It sounds great the idea of the pelvic floor being tight and strong but in reality this can be as bad as having a weak pelvic floor It means for pregnant women having a more difficult labour. ... It doesn’t stop after giving birth it can affect your life beyond birth with many normal things like painful sex, finding it difficult to empty your bowels, hip pain, pelvic pain and much more It’s crazy right? There is so much talk about strengthening your pelvic floor and little talk about having a pelvic floor that is too tight. This is what I have. I have been doing physio work to focus on relaxing my pelvic floor to give myself a better chance of living a better lifestyle that hasn’t been stopped by my pelvic floor. It means that I am taking my training a bit slower and rebuilding from the inside out. This is not a set back I could go hard, lift heavy weights, do boxing, cardio and ignore my body but in the end it’s doing me no favours this is a step forwards. This step forwards will ensure that when I can get back to where I was I will have a pelvic floor that is going to help me slay my workouts instead of throwing me forwards then backwards for years on end. It means a lot of my workouts for now have been walks and with a beautiful farm view how can I complain.

06.01.2022 I am in so many mothers facebook groups clueless about what to expect but also excited at the same time. These groups have been very helpful as I am a baby noob Something that has been on my mind since being in these groups is how many beautiful ladies are feeling so down about their beautiful bodies, asking how much others weigh and comparing their bodies to others in these groups and just not feeling great if they feel like their bellies are growing too fast or if they h...ave just had a baby why they are not losing weight faster compared to someone else in the group. The thing that hits me even before starting the motherhood to be journey is how would I feel if my future child felt this way? I have been this child and it is not fun. Instead I am complimenting my body and showing love and appreciation for my body which can be hard to do but this is something that we need to work on for ourselves and our children they will eventually listen and follow your footsteps. This is why I do not only work on my fitness I work on my mindset as well because at the end of the day the two play in together if you have a healthy mindset you will find a new love and respect for your body no matter what shape or size you are, have or will be. Its still ok if you want to lose weight but your weight loss will be coming from loving yourself instead of hating your body. Honestly working on the above can be hard and confront but oh my it is so worth going through the hard and confronting stuff to get to the gold. It’s the missing link to why so many people do not get to their goals. You are strong and beautiful now it is time to start working on seeing yourself like that whilst on your health and fitness journey. 04.01.2022 So excited that my first child is going to be a girl. There is so much I can’t wait to teach her about body love and self love it’s so much more important then exercising. Once we have the the love towards ourself and our bodies of course we may still want to change our shape but we don’t become as negative, we don’t punish our bodies we start nurturing our bodies, moving because it excites us, eating healthy because we want to look after our bodies. This little girl is already changing my body and I am so grateful to be on this new journey
