12.01.2022 I recently got to photograph lovely Fiona from @youarethefocuscommunitycare Fiona needed portraits & unique stock images for her website & social media accounts. Fiona is a mobile behavioural therapist assisting those with a disability in their own comfortable home environment. Her vision is for individuals with a disability to be a part of an inclusive society, with no judgement. I just love that. As a mum with a child who has a disability, this is something close to my he...art. Fiona is simply lovely, calm, kind and caring. She has the perfect demeanor for what she does and for putting people at ease. 10.01.2022 Meet the lovely Benjamine Merryweather. Benjamine is an amazing advocate for young adults with a disability. Benjamine's beautiful son Tom, who is in his early 20's has an intellectual impairment. As Tom has gotten older, Benjamine noticed a lack of safe local places for Tom to spend time with his friends, meet new friends, and be part of a friendly social environment that other young adults have easy access to. This is how Benjamine's idea of Wings was created. I can't wait to show you more images & document the beginning stages of this amazing new development as it comes to life. It's going to be so wonderful.

I met this top bloke, Kevin, who fixes pumps, and needed some updated images for his business. Yup, it's a grubby job, but someone has to do it, and Kevin is the man!
07.01.2022 As soon as I clicked the shutter on this image, I knew it was gorgeous in every way! And I knew the wonderful @lizzyjesseloves would love it too. When she shared it on her Instagram, this is what she wrote & it's just perfect, so I'm sharing it just as is... "When I grow up I wanna be......" My darlings my answers were simple. ... I always always wanted to be a newsreader (still do ) I wanted to marry Rick Astley (funny that- still do) and most importantly I wanted to be happy! I love this picture captured by one of the most kind hearted and selfless women I know. Her name is Amy @redcatbrandingphotography and we met around the wedding traps years ago. We share a love of laughing and giggling away at anything and everything and most importantly at ourselves. This pic of me incredibly happy with my chinney chin chins and closed peepers on full display. I'm in the midst of a full blown belly laugh post knee slap!! My beautiful Amy has been snapping my website pics for many years and we have seen many transformations with her always bringing out the very best of me! Celebrancy truly is a gift! I am the lucky mug who shares the most precious of days with my couples in their wedding day and also the most tragic and saddest of days with family members officiating funerals. Narrating loved ones' life stories is nothing short of an honour. I treasure them all. I never for one second take my position for granted my darlings. My wish is that I can keep on belly laughing and flashing my chins for many moons to come being happy and hopefully tracking down Mr Astley. I have always said from day one, "Derryck, you're a PERFECT first husband thanks Champ!" 06.01.2022 Meet Mick Alcorn from Ignition Accountants. Mick needed to update and refresh the images on his website, and also his profile photos on his social media accounts. We met up in Mudgeeraba, not far from where Mick is based, and took his images in the laneways and arcades he knows well. I love that these portraits aren't the typical corporate look headshots for someone in this industry. These images show Mick's relaxed, easy-going, and approachable personality.
05.01.2022 Back in my wedding photography days, I met this amazing, fun, hilarious woman who is so down to earth and wonderful, I just knew we were going to be great mates forever. I just loved working with her & watching the way she officiates weddings. Tarns has such a calm controlled manner which works wonders for shaking those wedding day nerves brides & grooms usually suffer. All the while smiling, and making sure the entire celebration runs smoothly. And if there happens to be a l...ittle hitch, you just know she'll take care of it & have the solution in hand. I love how Tarns just 'keeps it real' with no fuss. No wonder she got the ABIA No 1 Celebrant in 2017, among other awards over the years. Tarnya also has a beautiful little hidden gem called At Stella's, nestled in the Mudgeeraba hinterland with stunning views overlooking our gorgeous Gold Coast. At Stella's is home to Tarnya & her lovely hubby Al, who also open their home to host small private weddings, elopements, and events. I had a beautiful afternoon with her, Al, and their 3 dogs, getting even more of an insight into their lives and passion for what they do. I loved capturing this in these branding images for them. 05.01.2022 Hello @three_for_girls I'm Amy Neeson from Red Cat Branding Photography & also @amyneesonphotography I adore working with little ones and capturing their happy, carefree & curious personalities. For years I have enjoyed working with families & children, and have also worked in the branding industry for a long time too. I understand that little ones need to be happy, feel safe & photographed having fun for beautiful natural images. I also understand the balance between keepi...ng the session enjoyable for the little models and still getting the images required for branding purposes. My favourite place for photography sessions are rustic locations with long grass, big trees, and kids laughing & having fun. The best time to shoot is late afternoon when it's warm, with beautiful golden light. Here are my images for the #threeismecreative campaign. The first 3 images represent my style of photography.
