25.01.2022 Zaid b. Alqam reported: I am not going to say anything but only that which Allahs Messenger (may peace be upgn him) used to say. He used to supplicate:" O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from incapacity, from sloth, from cowardice, from miserliness, decrepitude and from torment of the grave. O Allah, grant to my soul the sense of righteousness and purify it, for Thou art the Best Purifier thereof. Thou art the Protecting Friend thereof, and Guardian thereof. 22.01.2022 Riyad as-Salihin 1418 Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The poor Emigrants came to the Messenger of Allah () and said: "The wealthy have gone with the highest ranks and lasting bliss." He asked: "How is that?" They replied: "They offer Salat (prayer) as we offer it; they observe fast as we do; (and as they are wealthy) they perform Hajj and Umrah, and go for Jihad, and they spend in charity but we cannot, and they free the slaves but we are unable to do... so." The Messenger of Allah () said, "Shall I not teach you something with which you may overtake those who surpassed you and with which you will surpass those who will come after you? None will excel you unless he who does which you do." They said: "Yes, please do, O Messenger of Allah" He () said, "You should recite: Tasbih (Allah is free from imperfection), Takbir (Allah is Greatest), Tahmid (Praise be to Allah) thirty-three times after each Salat." Abu Salih, the subnarrator of the Hadith said, when Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) was asked about the manner of reciting Tasbih, Tahmid and Takbir, he said, "Recite: "Subhan-Allah, wal-hamdulillah, wallahu Akbar, till all are recited thirty-three times. : " : : . : " : : " : : . 22.01.2022 Allahs sacred month of Muharram is a blessed and important month. It is the first month of the Hijri calendar and is one of the four sacred months concerning which Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): Verily, the number of months with Allaah is twelve months (in a year), so it was ordained by Allaah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them, four are sacred. That is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein [al-Tawbah 9:36] Abu Bakrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: The year is twelve months of which four are sacred, the three consecutive months of Dhul-Qadah, Dhul-Hijjah and Muharram, and Rajab Mudar which comes between Jumaada and Shabaan. (Reported by al-Bukhaari, 2958).

Aban was afflicted by some paralysis and when a man who heard the tradition began to look at him, he said to him: Why are you looking at me? I swear by Allah, I did not tell a lie about Uthman, nor did Uthman tell a lie about the Prophet (), but that day when I was afflicted by it, I became angry and forgot to say them. - - " " . . You are Blessing, O You Who have majesty and nobility)!" (Imam) Al-Awzai, one of the narrators of this Hadith, was asked: "How forgiveness is to be sought...?" 17.01.2022 It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allaah than the weak believer, although both are good. Strive to do that which will benefit you and seek the help of Allaah, and do not feel helpless. If anything befalls you, do not say If only I had done (such and such), the such and such would have happened, rather say: Allaah has decreed and what He wills He does, for if only opens the door to the work of the shaytaan. Narrated by Muslim (2664).

14.01.2022 Al-Bahooti said in Sharh al-Muntaha (3/142): Uncertainty, according to the scholars of usool, means being hesitant as to which of two scenarios occurred, when there is nothing to indicate which is more likely. This refers to being uncertain in a general sense as to whether what you are doubting took place or not, such as a talaaq (divorce), the number of talaaqs, and whether the condition of talaaq was met or not. That includes conjecture and speculation. End quote.

13.01.2022 The Muslim is enjoined to follow the Sahaabah (may Allah be pleased with them) in their good deeds, and not otherwise. Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): And the first forerunners [in the faith] among the Muhajireen and the Ansar and those who followed them with good conduct - Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great... attainment [at-Tawbah 9:100]. Muhammad ibn Kab al-Qurazi said: and those who followed them with good conduct this is an condition that is required of those who follow them, which is that they should follow them in their good deeds and not their bad deeds. End quote. See: ad-Durr al-Manthoor (4/272) and Tafseer al-Baghawi (4/88).

13.01.2022 The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to stand (in prayer) until his feet became swollen. It was said to him: Do you do this even though your past and future sins have been forgiven? He said: Should I not be a thankful slave?

12.01.2022 It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: The best fast after Ramadan is in the month of Allah Muharram. Narrated by Muslim (1982). The phrase the month of Allah (shahr Allah) is indicative of the veneration this month deserves, as it is attributed to Allah (in a genitive or idaafah phrase). Al-Qaari said: What appears to be the case is that what is meant is the entire m...onth of Muharram. But it is proven that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) never fasted any month in full apart from Ramadan. So this hadeeth is to be understood as meaning that it is encouraged to fast a great deal during the month of Muharram, not to fast the entire month. It is proven that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) fasted a great deal during Shabaan, and perhaps the virtue of Muharram was not revealed to him until the end of his life, before he was able to fast during this month. 11.01.2022 It was narrated that Abd-Allah ibn Amr ibn al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The Lord is pleased when the parents are pleased and He is angry when the parents are angry. Al-Albani said: It is hasan li ghayrihi (sound because of corroborating evidence). Clearly expressing gratitude to the parents and acknowledging their virtue is undoubtedly included in the meaning of the verse, but the verse should not be understood as meaning this only, rather what is meant by giving thanks here is more general than that: a person should fulfil the rights that his Lord has over him in his heart and his words as well as his physical actions, and he should fulfil his parents rights over him in a like manner.

07.01.2022 The perfect example for the Muslim is the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). Hence Allah commanded the people to follow the example of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) on the day of al-Ahzaab, in terms of his patience, steadfastness, perseverance, striving in jihad and awaiting help and support from his Lord, may He be glorified and exalted, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon him constantly until the Day of Judgement. 02.01.2022 If there is a great deal of doubt or uncertainty, then this is waswasah (intrusive thoughts; whispers from the Shaytaan), and no attention is to be paid to it. Al-Kaasaani (may Allah have mercy on him) said, quoting from Muhammad ibn al-Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him): If someone is uncertain about part of his wudoo, and this is the first time that he has been uncertain, then he should wash the place concerning which he is unsure, because he is certain that that part was... impure, but is uncertain as to whether he has washed it. What is meant by his words the first time that he has been uncertain is that uncertainty has not become habitual in his case; it does not mean that he never experienced doubt and uncertainty before. But if that happens to him a great deal, he should pay no attention to it, because that is waswasah (intrusive thoughts). The way to deal with waswasah is to ignore it, because if he is distracted by it, that will lead to him never being able to have the time to pray, and that is not permissible. 01.01.2022 Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said in Madarij al-Salikeen: Gratitude is based on five foundations: Humility of the thankful one towards the One Who is thanked, his love for Him, his acknowledgement of His blessing, his praise of Him for that and not using it for anything that He hates. ... These five are the foundations of gratitude which is built on them. If one of them is missing, then one of the foundations of gratitude is missing. Whoever (of the scholars) speaks of gratitude as an independent quality must be referring to all of these five foundations. Gratitude is shown in the heart by humility, on the tongue by praise and acknowledgement, and in ones physical actions by obeying and submitting. End quote.
