24.01.2022 And THIS is why you NEED ‘getting ready’ photos as part of your wedding package (in my humble opinion )... Wedding photography is documentary style... it’s story telling. I honestly LOVE looking through my ‘getting ready’ photos just as much as the portraits! The memories we capture that day live on for your children and their children. . . Now I know I’m a photographer so of course I want you to book the best package, but honestly, if you’re trying to save money, don’t do it with your photography. There are so many ways to save money by doing some DIY but don’t skimp on photography, I can’t tell you the amount of people I talk to that say they wish they’d prioritised their Wedding photography!

14.01.2022 I love seeing everybody’s 2020 top 9! Here’s mine . . We made it, we got through 2020... .... . Just this morning I’ve been thinking about the impact of covid. So many people suffered. Not only with health but a loss of income, a decline in mental health and an increase in other social issues...but, there have also been some positives. I might be wrong, but I feel like people are valuing each other more. Being more thoughtful of our children’s future. Being more focused on what truly matters. . . For me,the best thing has been the growth in my marriage. I feel like my hubby and I have found a better place in our connection. Deciding more often to choose love instead of ‘being right’ ...it’s much harder than it sounds but love is always a better choice. It feels so good to say that I’m feeling a mix of emotions at the end of this year! Grateful, Hopeful, sad..,We’d hoped to have another baby by this year, but... my word for 2021 is BELIEVE so I’ll just keep on believing! I thought mine might be surrender but BELIEVE feels good. It was locked it after beautiful @raisingpricelessarrows gifted me a young living oil named ‘believe’ . . . I’d love to hear your word for 2021 and why! . Enjoy the last day of 2020 friend. 12.01.2022 Hey everybody! Sharing one of my fav photos from Miss Emily’s formal, I love that she’s so sweet and delightful and rocking her boots . . . I hope your Christmas was special. We’ve been at Copetan Dam and are surfacing back into the real world today. It always makes me appreciate ‘normal’ things like bath mats and comfy lounges, etc, etc lol... I’m looking forward to a more balanced year in 2021! Today I’m pondering my ‘word for the year’... do you do that? How do you decide your ‘word’? My reoccurring theme the past few years is ‘trust’ and this year I’m leaning towards ‘surrender’... am I weird or do other people do this?
