13.01.2022 Sally talked to me about my insecurities. While I was embarrassed about the fact that I couldn’t swim, the truth was that I was too self conscious about the big scars on my chest to ever show my body in public. When I was in public I wanted to be a normal kid and didn’t want people seeing my scars and wondering what the hell happened. She made me see those scars as something to be proud of. So, I went into the change rooms and came out scars and all.
12.01.2022 That was the difference Sally brought to our lives. She tried to bring out the best in everyone. She was able to persuade Cameron to draw a line over the past and to do something good for the future.

04.01.2022 Dad rushed me to the 7 West Ward at the old Royal Children’s Hospital, which is the cardiac and renal unit. At first the nurses didn’t react like it was urgent or anything and Dad started yelling, He’s really sick! When they checked my oxygen saturation levels they were about twenty-five, whereas the norm is between ninety-five and one hundred. That certainly made them take notice. I was going into heart failure. My kidneys were shutting down and all my other organs would s...oon follow. They wouldn’t let me drink water because this would mean extra work for my heart pushing the fluids round my body and the last thing it need was more pressure. The nurses fed me little ice chips which melted slowly in my mouth and they kept re-checking me hoping to see some signs of improvement. But nothing was changing except it was getting worse. I was feeling pretty crap, but I didn’t know how bad it was. See more
01.01.2022 When I talk about living life to the fullest, I don’t mean all this YOLO stuff partying and acting cray cray 24/7. It’s not an excuse to just let loose and do whatever. It’s about expressing your love to the people around you every single day.
