25.01.2022 Some great photos from our ANAA Unmarked Safari. A fun weekend on and off the ranges.

25.01.2022 The Australian National Archery Association is again running the National Indoor Mail Match Competition. 2020 was a pretty rough year for many archers, so this is a great way to get back to shooting and competing without too much fuss. Our Competition starts in February and finishes on 30th April. Any Australian Archer can enter into the competition. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in all divisions. These will be mailed to the individual archer or club se...cretary. For more information please contact the ANAA secretary at [email protected] or telephone 0418166783.

25.01.2022 The Scores from the weekend are in. Great shooting from our members.

24.01.2022 The last of our ANAA Safari competitions was shot this weekend. Temperatures were high and we got a wild storm Saturday afternoon and again later in the evening. Our archers shot and competed with great success.

23.01.2022 The final two ANAA Marked Safari round was shot this weekend at Avon Valley Field Archers. It was a great weekend with fabulous weather and incredible competition. Some brilliant scores with several archers moving to division 1.

21.01.2022 This story is very distressing and after looking at the arrow it seems the bow used was a compound bow, and not a crossbow as stated. The Australian National Archery Association condems the use of any archery equipment for use in criminal behaviour. There are no licensing restrictions on our sport at present but unfortunately with incidents like these this may be what happens in the future. We all need to stand up and condem this behaviour as this person does not represent the many law-abiding archers in Australia.

20.01.2022 The results are in for our ANAA Unmarked Safari held over the weekend. Great to see so many young families enjoying our sport at such a beautiful club.

15.01.2022 Nothing says a weekend of archery than home made target cup cakes, thank you Carmella even baby Grace was a fan.

14.01.2022 The first ANAA Unmarked Safari competition was a great success. Beautiful weather and a fabulous turnout at Avon Valley Field Archers. These are our place getters.

14.01.2022 Dayne is part of the ANAA's Adaptive Archery. Archery is not only his sport and passion, but also a great social outlet. Dayne is in an archery training program with the NSW Archery Coaching Academy. He attends an official coaching night once a week and shoots to practice twice a week. He is an amazing young man who has overcome many challenges, and continues to challenge himself.... We are very proud to have Dayne as a member of our association.

13.01.2022 The Australian National Archery Association would like to wish all archers around Australia a very Merry Christmas. Lets hope 2021 brings more peace and more archery opportunities for all archers of all abilities. Archery is a "Universal Sport for All".

11.01.2022 The last ANAA competition for 2020 will be held on the 5th & 6th December 2020 at Avon Valley Field Archers. 04.01.2022 The Australian National Archery Association is registered with the NSW Government so our NSW clubs can access the Active Kids Vouchers scheme. This is a great way to cover some of the costs for our young archers. We have a comprehensive coaching program for all our young archers at our clubs. The scheme gives each school aged student a $100 voucher twice a year to be used with registered providers.

03.01.2022 https://www.sport.nsw.gov.au/her-sport-her-way-awards Women are an integral part of our sport and we should recognise the achievements of our clubs and individuals in striving to promote the achievements of our female athletes.

We are looking forward to using these resources in our coaching program with our Adaptive Archers.
