24.01.2022 Our Tuesday morning Yoga class will go ahead here at Anahata (24.3.20). We'll discuss options for future Yoga after class. Please remember to bring your own Yoga mat. I have second hand & new Yoga mats for sale. No shared props, we have plenty of room so spread out, and please use the sanitising products provided. Namaste!

20.01.2022 Yoga classes at Anahata With growing concerns about Covid-19 I want to assure you that the health & safety of everyone at Anahata is a priority. At the moment classes will continue on Tuesday and Friday mornings. The entire Temple space has been cleaned thoroughly & extra care taken to wipe surfaces with alcohol based sanitiser where required. This includes recently used Yoga mats. We will no longer use shared props: bolsters, blankets, straps, blocks or cushions in class a...nd I ask that you bring your own Yoga mat to practice on. If you don’t own a Yoga mat you can purchase a pre used (and alcohol sanitised) temple yoga mat from me for $10 or $15. I will also have new Yoga mats for sale at the temple as of tomorrow. Hospital grade hand wash will be supplied in the toilet hand wash area, plus anti bacterial wipes and alcohol based sanitiser will be available on foyer table. Please use mindfully as purchasing these products is becoming difficult. If you are feeling unwell please refrain from coming to class. There will be no hands on assists from me during this time and I recommend you ‘air hug’ only. Please bring your own filled water bottles with you. The less surfaces we need to ‘share touch’ the better. Mostly though I ask you to practice Ahimsa - Be kind, look out for each other and show compassion. See more

19.01.2022 Discussion from this mornings Yoga class members reflected that everyone is wanting to continue Yoga classes. So ........ When the weather is fine we'll do the class under the trees near the carpark. This area is shady &/or filtered shade between 9-10.30am. When its raining we'll use the Temple space, however I will limit this to 10 people per class (1st 10 people). BYO Yoga mats or buy one from me (sanitised secondhand or new). We are not sharing any props.... I understand how many of you are feeling that you need Yoga more than ever at the moment, however we need to stay safe so please be very aware of Social distancing. Be smart .... use sanitisers and soaps provided - If possible bring your own sanitisers with you, as I'm getting low and these are hard to obtain. And please STAY AWAY if you're unwell. 16.01.2022 No Noosa sunsets for a while - I’m off to chilly Melbourne for a week. There’ll be no Friday (2 August) Yoga class tomorrow, however Tracey will be teaching the class on Tuesday and I’ll be back next Friday (9 August)

14.01.2022 Ahimsa goes beyond all its translations, for it isquite simplylove. (Mahatma Ghandi) Cultivating Ahimsa towards ourselves could feel quite challenging at the moment. Maybe NOW is an appropriate time to consider that our fears and negative mindsets can throw us into an unconscious spin of harmful behaviour towards ourselves.
