22.01.2022 Since moving into our new house the whole family has suffered with extremely dry skin and even bad eczema! For so long we were thinking it was diet and stress related but are now convinced it’s our water Yesterday we finally got to install our water filter into the shower and are all looking forward to hopefully seeing a big change in our skin! ... But in the mean time I whipped up this super easy and absolutly lush moisturiser, made solely of Shea Butter and Apricot oil, to help retain as much of our skins’ natural oils as possible! For this first batch I have left out our EO’s but if I was to make it again for myself I would certainly add some lavender, geranium and of course good old Frankie

22.01.2022 After one episode of Tidying up with Marie Kondo inspired hubby and I to tidy half of the house yesterday we definitely needed some extra help getting out of bed this morning! This little blend was prefect to give us the motivation to finish off what we started yesterday!

I love that we can support our family with safe natural alternatives! Our Teething blend (Siberian fir, Copaiba and Lavender) has already come in very handy for two very large bumps to the head- both within about 2 hours of each other Amazingly we have avoided any bruising with just a couple of applications

17.01.2022 We’re back!! It’s been a pretty crazy year for us over here at A Natural Intuition, and as you may have noticed we had to put the business on hold for a little while. What happened? We found out we were expecting our second little bub on the exact same day we got the keys to our new house.. overwhelmed was an understatement! ... Since welcoming our new little man, 8 weeks ago, I finally feel like I have settled into life with 2 Kids under 2 and think it’s time to begin sharing my passion with essential oils again! So I would love to know now, for those of you with essential oil’s- what inspires you to use them and what would you most like to learn more about? And for those of you who don’t have oils- yet . 10.01.2022 CONFESSION I used to be a ‘rexona clinical protection’ type deodorant girl! I’m not sure if this was because my BO was really that bad or more because the self doubt and paranoia of having bad BO made me think it was a truly necessary part of my late teens/early 20’s ... Either way, I used that stuff (and other similar brands) for YEARS Not only was it an expensive option but I also ironically hated the way it made my skin smell Eventually that was the main reason I broke off my love affair with ‘clinical strength’ antiperspirant deodorants! Commercial deodorants are full of horrible toxins that are absorbed straight into our blood stream and lymph nodes. They fill our pores with thing like aluminium to stop our bodies producing sweat.. When realistically we need sweat to maintain a regular body temperature and it only smells bad when there is bacteria present. Kill the bacteria = No BO I came across a beautiful recipe from ‘The inspired little pot’ and I’m happy to say I will never need to buy deodorant again! It’s so simple, smells great and it’s quick to make, plus just one pot last months!

08.01.2022 Camping essentials Today our little family is off on our first holiday in what feels like forever! I don’t think hubby and I have ever looked forward to a week of relaxation quite so much ... Instead of taking our whole oily kit away we have made up this little essentials kit! 04.01.2022 I made this bottle of face wash months ago and after daily use I’m only just needing to make a new bottle now! How’s that for value I ran out last week and have been a bit slack in refilling but my skin has certainly missed my daily face wash! 02.01.2022 This is our little cherub Whilst her eyes give a look of pure innocence and her smile is hidden, just for the minute, I can assure you this kid is as cheeky as they come Yesterday she was enjoying her first homemade icy pole ... Banana, blueberry and raspberry blended with some MCT oil (Edible liquid coconut oil). Anyway.. My husband came home mid icypole (Mid mess more like it ) and I instantly thought You idiot you gave her blueberry and raspberry ice cream whilst in a white shirt... Yep.. I’m that mother, the mother who’s kid always has stained clothes because I never consider what my child is wearing and always feed her the messiest (aka fun) foods! But.. I recently came across an incredible little DoTERRA hack! That has literally been saving our clothes ever since! Behold... THE CLEANING CONCENTRATE This stuff is the best! I literally keep a roller in the laundry and dab it on all potential stains ASAP and leave for 24hrs befor washing like normal! Waaa-lah no more stains!! Plus my daughter Is even starting to look like she has clean clothes on- WIN WIN! This definitely works best with quick application!
