22.01.2022 This morning we took the opportunity to explore a bit of our own backyard. We indulged with a spot of breakfast at the The Garden Berry (delicious by the way) before taking the walk to the #DrawingRoomRocks. A steep and uneven track gets you to one of the best lookout points in the Shoalhaven with views to the coast from Geroa all the way down to Jervis Bay, and across into Kangaroo Valley. Any excuse is a good excuse to Visit Shoalhaven!

16.01.2022 Digging through the drawers, we found an old Greenwell Point photograph of the main street. (Isn't it amazing what you can find in drawers you haven't been in to in ages?) Do any of our guests remember Greenwell Point from this time - I'm quite sure the motel wouldn't have even been here then! Shoalhaven History

16.01.2022 For guests that haven't been to our motel before, I often tell them to turn off the highway and keep driving until they see the water. I might have to change that for the moment following the East Coast Low that hit earlier this week. Here's a look from Jindy Andy Lane panning from the Nowra around to Greenwell Point, and showing the flood plains in action.

01.01.2022 Did you check out Merribee Gardens on Better Homes & Gardens last week? They are well worth a visit for our green thumbs when you're travelling to the area. Remember, they're only open on a Wednesday - and of course you can always book a night (or three) at the Anchor Bay Motel Greenwell Point which is only 7 km's as the pelican flies!!
