21.01.2022 Congratulations St Helens! Tassie's Top Tourism Town for 2020! The Jewel of Tasmania's North-East, St Helens, has been named the inaugural Spirit of Tasmania T...assie's Top Tourism Town Our judging panel assessed each of our eleven towns' entries for their creativity and quality in best showcasing their town and region. These judges scores were combined with the public vote to determine the overall results, with St Helens coming out on top! St Helens is a very appropriate winner of the inaugural Tassie's Top Tourism Town. One of Tassie's favourite traditional holiday spots, St Helens have invested heavily into its tourism infrastructure over the past few years, including its new world-class Mountain Biking Network. It is on the doorstep to the iconic Bay of Fires and some of the most pristine coastal areas in Tasmania, and home of some of the freshest seafood you'll find anywhere in the world. Check out their entry by clicking here: https://youtu.be/Mgajxb4mhxY

14.01.2022 Goblin Forest Walk at Poimena. A short drive from St Helen's. The ground cover looks like snow but is in fact a white moss. A fascinating place and well worth the 25min drive. Just another tick off your Tassie bucket list.
